Import UncoveredList leads into Applied Epic

Export your leads in the Applied Epic layout, then bring them in with Applied Epic's own import tool. No add-on or integration needed.

Steps

  1. In UncoveredList, export with the format Applied Epic (Prospects template).
  2. In Epic, go to Configure > Account > Import Prospects and add a mapping file: Prospect type Business, File Format CSV.
  3. Map every column in our file. Epic requires every column to be defined, so set any you don't want to Do Not Import.
  4. Upload the prospect file, then import the prospect batch into prospective client accounts (see Epic's Import Prospect Files and Import Prospect Batches topics).

Tips

  • Mapping files are usually set up by an Epic administrator. Build it once and every later export imports the same way.
  • Epic's Leads Inbox is a separate feature that needs a vendor integration. This guide uses Import Prospects, not Leads Inbox.

Columns in the Applied Epic export

Account Name · Account Type · Status · Address Line 1 · City · State · Postal Code · Source · Comments

The Notes or description column carries the UncoveredList score, industry, likely coverage lines, any signals, the formation date and the state source link. Every export is business-level public records only. No owner or officer names, phone numbers, or email.

Which plans include it

The Applied Epic export is on Agency, Platinum. Every plan, including Starter (from $89/mo for one territory), exports CSV (all fields), which you can map into Applied Epic by hand. See pricing.
