How it works

Official filings in. Prioritized prospects out.

A transparent, four-step pipeline that runs every night. No scraped social profiles, no guesswork about where a lead came from.

  1. Step 1

    Collect

Every night we pull new LLCs, corporations and sales-tax permits from official state open-data portals in Colorado, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Texas.

    Colorado
    Colorado Secretary of State
    Daily (1–2 day lag)
    New York
    NY Department of State
    Daily
    Pennsylvania
    PA Department of State
    Weekly to monthly
    Connecticut
    CT Secretary of the State
    Nightly
    Texas
    Texas Comptroller (new sales-tax permits)
    About weekly
  2. Step 2

    Clean

We remove holding companies, investment shells, nonprofits and filings that only list a registered-agent mail drop, so you only see real operating businesses.

    • Holding companies, investment vehicles and SPVs ("…Holdings LLC", "…Capital", address-named LLCs)
    • Filings whose only address is a registered-agent or virtual-office mail drop, or an address shared by 10+ new entities in a single pull
    • Nonprofits and religious organizations (scored down; optional)
    • Texas: additional locations of existing businesses (scored down) and sole proprietors trading under their own name (removed)
  3. Step 3

    Score

Each business is tagged into one of 19 insurance-relevant industries and scored 1–100 for how likely it is to need commercial coverage soon, with the lines it probably needs.

    Industries we classify:

    Trucking & TransportationConstruction & ContractorsRestaurants, Food & BarsHealthcare & WellnessAuto Services & DealersCleaning, Landscaping & Home ServicesManufacturing & IndustrialRetail & E-commerceBeauty & Personal CareFitness & RecreationChildcare & EducationHospitality & EventsSecurity & StaffingProfessional ServicesTechnology & SoftwareAgriculture & CannabisReal Estate & Property HoldingNonprofit / Religious

Red = hot-lead industries (flagged at score 75+). Where a state reports a NAICS industry code (CT, TX) we use it first; otherwise we classify from the business name, with AI assistance for the hard cases. The score weighs industry exposure, a real business address, entity type and data completeness. It's an estimate to help you prioritize, not underwriting advice.

  4. Step 4

    Deliver

By about 6 AM you get a digest and CSV for your territory. Pro and Agency also get a searchable dashboard, AI openers, a contacted tracker and CRM exports.

    • Email digest with your top leads, around 6 AM Mountain
    • Full CSV attached (business-level fields)
    • Dashboard with search, filters, tracker (Pro+)
    • CRM-mapped exports (Pro+) and AMS templates (Agency)

Privacy by design

Business-level data only

We deliberately don't collect or deliver officer, organizer, member or owner names, even where states publish them. You get the business, its location, its industry and what it probably needs. You make the introduction.
