1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and UncoveredList, a Wyoming limited liability company (“UncoveredList,” “we,” “us” or “our”), and govern your access to and use of the UncoveredList website, dashboard, email digests, data files, exports and related services (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, starting a free trial, checking a box indicating acceptance, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use & Data License and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated by reference. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If you accept on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that company.
Please read Section 16 carefully. It requires disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration and waives class actions and jury trials, with limited exceptions.
2. Eligibility and business use
The Service is offered only to businesses and professionals for business purposes, and is not intended for personal, family or household use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You represent that you will use the Service in your trade or profession, such as insurance agency prospecting, and in compliance with all laws and licensing requirements that apply to you.
3. The Service
UncoveredList compiles information about newly registered or permitted businesses from public, official state open-data sources (currently Colorado, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Texas), filters it, classifies it by industry, estimates an insurance-need score, suggests likely coverage lines and, on some plans, generates suggested outreach text (together, the “Data”).
The Service is designed to deliver business-level information. We intentionally exclude officer, organizer, member, filer and owner names and individual registered-agent names. Features, data sources, refresh schedules and coverage may change over time; we will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan during a paid term except as required by law, by a data source or by a third-party provider.
4. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- Each login is for one named person. Do not share credentials. Agency plans include the number of seats stated at purchase; additional users require additional seats.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify us promptly at of any unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions, free trials and billing
Automatic renewal. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time online from Account → Manage billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Free trial. New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial unless stated otherwise. You must provide a payment method to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged the plan price shown at checkout, and every billing period after that, until you cancel. We will email a reminder before the trial ends. One free trial per agency.
Prices and plans. Prices are listed on our pricing page in U.S. dollars and are per billing period. Multi-state pricing consists of a first-state price, an additional-state price and an all-states bundle. Annual plans are billed upfront for 12 months at 11 times the monthly price, and each annual renewal is billed at the same 11-times-monthly rate (based on the then-current monthly price).
Founding-member pricing. The first 20 subscribers may receive 20% off their subscription for as long as that subscription remains continuously active (“for life”). The discount applies to the plan, states and seats purchased and to later changes we process on the same subscription. It ends permanently if the subscription is canceled, lapses for non-payment or is transferred, and cannot be combined with other offers.
Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes take effect at your next renewal after the notice period. If you don't agree, cancel before the change takes effect.
Taxes. Prices exclude applicable sales, use and similar taxes, which may be added where required.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for all fees when due. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, and we may suspend access until the balance is paid.
Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. License to use the Service and Data
Subject to these Terms and payment of fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license during your subscription to access the Service and use the Data for your internal business purposes as described in the Acceptable Use & Data License. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Your responsibilities and outreach compliance
You alone decide whether and how to contact any business, and you are solely responsible for doing so lawfully. Without limitation, you must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and FCC rules, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and the National Do Not Call Registry, state telemarketing, “mini-TCPA” and do-not-call laws, state insurance licensing, appointment and solicitation rules, anti-spam and privacy laws, and your carriers' requirements. You must promptly honor any request from a business or person not to be contacted.
You must not use the Service or Data for any purpose prohibited by the Acceptable Use & Data License, including as a consumer report or for decisions about an individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing.
8. Data accuracy; no professional advice
Data originates from government sources that may contain errors, omissions or delays, and businesses change. Industry labels, scores, coverage suggestions, outreach text and lookup results are generated by automated methods, including machine learning, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are estimates to help you prioritize, not statements of fact about any business, and are not insurance, underwriting, legal, tax or compliance advice. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (accounts and database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), AI model providers (classification of business-level data) and, for optional website/phone lookups, Google Maps Platform. Your use of Google Maps content within the Service is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability may affect the Service.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
The Service, including its software, design, selection and arrangement of Data, scores, classifications, text and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Underlying public records remain public; our compilation, enrichment and presentation are ours. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms or the Data License, fail to pay, create legal risk for us or others, or if required by law or a data provider. On termination, your license ends and you must stop using the Service and handle Data as required by Section 7 of the Data License. Sections that by their nature should survive (including payment obligations, Sections 8 and 12–18) survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
The Service and all Data are provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will produce any particular number of leads, contacts, quotes, policies, premium or commission.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, commissions, goodwill or data, even if advised of the possibility; and (b) our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your indemnification obligations, or your breach of the Data License, and apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless UncoveredList and its members, managers, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your outreach to any business or person, including alleged violations of the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA, Do-Not-Call rules or insurance solicitation laws; (b) your breach of these Terms or the Data License; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before it takes effect, except where a change is required by law or addresses a new feature, in which case it takes effect when posted. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, cancel before the change takes effect.
16. Dispute resolution; arbitration; class-action waiver
